Germantown has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Wauwatosa East 100-68 at home. Germantown's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Lucy Leininger, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Leininger is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Jakusz, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds.
West Allis Hale's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Germantown, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
West Allis Hale was taken down by Germantown 84-49 in their previous meeting back in January. Thankfully for West Allis Hale, Kamorea Arnold (who scored nine points along with 12 assists and eight steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
