The Hamilton Bulldogs stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Rio Vista 80-22 at home. The victory was nothing new for Hamilton as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Hamilton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kelton Wright led the charge by scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. That's the first time this season that Wright posted two or more blocks. Brooklyn Bragg was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks.
Hamilton has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Rio Vista, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-24.
Hamilton will head out on the road to face off against Italy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Italy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1090th, while Hamilton is ranked 317th). As for Rio Vista, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Valley Mills at 6:00 p.m.
