There's no place like home for the Mooseheart Red Ramblers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They secured a 77-72 W over Schaumburg Christian on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Mooseheart's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tolu Erinolu, who scored 17 points. The contest was Erinolu's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bryan Lombo, who scored 15 points.
The victory got Mooseheart back to even at 2-2. As for Schaumburg Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Mooseheart will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Unity Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. As for Schaumburg Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against South Beloit at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Beloit presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Schaumburg Christian in Illinois (South Beloit is ranked 187th, while Schaumburg Christian is ranked 623rd).
