After flying high against the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans last Wednesday, Rochester STEM Academy came back down to earth. Rochester STEM Academy had to suffer through a rough 99-38 loss at the hands of Goodhue. Rochester STEM Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-22.
Rochester STEM Academy's loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Saeed Mohamed and Ilyas Hassan. Mohamed scored 14 points, while Hassan scored ten points.
Rochester STEM Academy's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-13. As for Goodhue, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Rochester STEM Academy will head out on the road to face off against Chesterton Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Minnesota (Chesterton Academy is ranked 427th, while Rochester STEM Academy is ranked 408th). As for Goodhue, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wabasha-Kellogg at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
