The Weatherford Kangaroos had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Paschal with a sharp 28-7 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Weatherford, who have now won three matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Weatherford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colton McClure, who picked up 80 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Keats Bohannon, who threw for 222 yards and a touchdown while completing 95.5% of his passes.
Weatherford's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Jackson Thompson and his four sacks.
Weatherford's win bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Paschal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Weatherford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Paschal also has no future games currently scheduled.
