After soaring high against Garber last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Covington-Douglas were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Ringwood. If Covington-Douglas were expecting to get some payback for the 20-43 defeat against Ringwood the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Covington-Douglas' record to 2-1. The win bumped Ringwood's record up to 2-0.
Covington-Douglas will stay at home next week against Olive at 7:00 PM. Ringwood will be staying on the road, facing off against Medford.
