One of the most notable came from Connor Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 21 rebounds. Those 21 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Charlie Mattas, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Juniata Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-9 record last season and are now at 1-5.
Juniata Valley will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Southern Huntingdon County at 5:30 p.m. on December 26th. Southern Huntingdon County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 408th, while Juniata Valley is ranked 171st). Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against DuBois Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
