Cherokee Bluff was dealt a 34-7 loss at the hands of North Oconee on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 49 points in the game before, Cherokee Bluff couldn't push the score so high this time.
When it comes to explaining why Cherokee Bluff lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ty Corbin. Despite the final result, he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Cherokee Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for North Oconee, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Cherokee Bluff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Oconee will be playing at home against Pace Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pace Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
