Sandpoint came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Lakeland Hawks on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Hawks on Tuesday, they had to take a 9-8 loss.

Brennan Shaw was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Gavin Day, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Sandpoint's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Lakeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Sandpoint will challenge Coeur d'Alene at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coeur d'Alene's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Sandpoint's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lakeland, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Lakeland Hawks duke it out with Lakeside Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
