Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Jefferson Bulldogs walked away with it. They took their game on the road on Monday with ease, bagging a 69-17 victory over the Eagles. Jefferson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 23 points or more this season.
The win (which was Jefferson's fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for New Diana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-18.
Jefferson will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Winnsboro at 6:00 p.m. on February 15th. Winnsboro has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 356 points over their last five contests. New Diana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
