Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Capital). They walked away with a 71-60 win over the Washington Patriots on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Capital's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7. As for Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Capital will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Washington and Highline will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
