The last time they encountered one another, Garfield-Palouse outplayed Touchet 0-2. This time around? Get ready for this: It was close but no cigar for Touchet as they fell 0-2 to Garfield-Palouse last Friday. If you felt some intense deja vu just there, it's no doubt because Touchet and Garfield-Palouse finished with that exact same score the last time they met.
Meanwhile, Pomeroy won the last time they met up with St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Pomeroy made easy work of St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse and carried off a 58-24 win. Pomeroy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Five weeks ago, Touchet were close but not close enough as they fell 0-2 to Pomeroy. Can Touchet avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
