Meanwhile, Stanton didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Garden City on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 55-51 victory.
Stanton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Armendarez, who went 6 for 15 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Dominguez, who went 5 for 7 en route to 13 points.
