The Olentangy Braves will play host again and welcome the Grove City Greyhounds, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Olentangy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Grove City likes a good challenge.
Olentangy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 59-33 margin over Olentangy Orange. Given Olentangy's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while Olentangy Orange is ranked 392nd), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Olentangy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Mosher, who scored 11 points along with six steals. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Mobley, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, Grove City came up short against Groveport-Madison on Friday and fell 48-41. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Grove City has scored all season.
Olentangy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Grove City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
