Basketball Recap: Madison's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Madison had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.6 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They took down the West Monroe Rebels 67-53. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 66-61 victory the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2018.

Madison's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. As for West Monroe, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Madison will take on Carroll in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Monroe, they and Vidalia will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
