Loyola-Sacred Heart extended the longest winning streak in Western 6B this week by beating Bigfork, 49-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Rams.
Loyola-Sacred Heart took down the Vikings 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ronan's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Chiefs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Lucas Gerhardt has thrown for 112 yards this season, while Carston Baertsch has five catches for 72 yards. Baertsch leads the league in rushing with 149 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Florence-Carlton and Terry Falcon's team. The Falcons enters the contest ranked 17th in the state, while the Rams ranks 13th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Florence-Carlton takes on Loyola-Sacred Heart. Terry Maki's team has allowed 106 points this season, while the Rams have given up 29. The Falcons allowed 28 points last week as they bested Ronan.
Loyola-Sacred Heart led Western 6B in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Bigfork.
