The Grace Academy Lions were the 55-16 winner over the Fletcher Falcons when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Grace Academy took a hard 39-25 fall against Fletcher on Tuesday. Grace Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured five defeats in a row.
Despite the loss, Grace Academy saw an underclassman step up: Austin Miller scored six points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Kalista Pressley was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Grace Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Fletcher, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.
Grace Academy will be playing at home against South Charlotte T at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Charlotte T is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Fletcher, they will head out on the road to challenge Providence Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
