Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacob Conroy , who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Samaj Long, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists.
Ardrey Kell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Delani Hammonds, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 10 assists. The contest was Hammonds' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Owen Wacker was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Porter Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ardrey Kell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
