Leupp Boarding are still winless after their contest against the Orme Warriors on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. Leupp Boarding fell just short of Orme by a score of 43-41.
Orme was led to victory by Owen Rudolph and Preston Tisi. Rudolph dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Tisi dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tisi has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Welty, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Leupp Boarding's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Orme, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Leupp Boarding will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Leupp Boarding in Arizona (Trinity Christian is ranked 78th, while Leupp Boarding is ranked 307th). As for Orme, they will head out on the road to square off against Caurus Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
