The Perth Amboy Panthers will square off against the Kennedy Memorial Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Perth Amboy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, Perth Amboy was able to grind out a solid win over Middlesex, taking the game 12-9. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly three runs.
Izabella Pardo was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

In other batting news, Perth Amboy got a massive performance out of Gabriella Reyes, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The dominant performance also gave Reyes a new career-high in doubles (two). Edith Luciano was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI.
Perth Amboy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .485. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in five consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Kennedy Memorial sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Edison on Tuesday.
Perth Amboy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Kennedy Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Perth Amboy came out on top in a nail-biter against Kennedy Memorial in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 9-8. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
