Clyde-Savannah is 4-0 against Whitman since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Whitman Wildcats at 7:00  p.m. One thing working in Clyde-Savannah's favor is that they have now posted big  point totals  every time they've taken the field this season.
 Clyde-Savannah can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Friday. They blew past Dryden 34-14.
 Clyde-Savannah's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Zymere Smith, who rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and   John Whitfield, who rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Smith is on a roll when it comes to  rushing yards, as he's now  rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played.  Aidan Van Duyne did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 91 receiving yards.
 Meanwhile, Whitman owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance two weeks ago. They blew past Waterloo, posting a  30-0 victory at home.
 Clyde-Savannah's victory was  their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 South Seneca and 1-6 Mynderse Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 30.3% over those games). As for Whitman, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
 Clyde-Savannah took their  victory against Whitman  when the teams last played  back in September of 2017 by a conclusive  34-8. Will Clyde-Savannah repeat their success,  or does  Whitman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
