Warner extended the longest winning streak in Lake Region (9 Man) this week by beating Plankinton, 50-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Warner took down the Pirates 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ipswich/Edmunds Central's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Lane Myer threw for 28 and one touchdown and Brayden Thares had 15 yards receiving. On the ground Alex Marsh chipped in 125 yards. Phil Beck helped Ipswich/Edmunds Central's passing attack out by catching two balls for 13 yards.
The Tigers' Myer and Thares have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Myer has thrown for 897 yards this season, while Thares, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 24 catches for 404 yards. Darin Wieseler from Faulkton leads the league in rushing with 1120 yards.
Leola/Frederick led the league in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on Timber Lake.
