Northgate hasn't had much luck against College Park recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Broncos will look to defend their home field against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Northgate is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Northgate came up short against Alhambra and fell 6-1.

Northgate saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taelyn Jriyasetapong, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Jriyasetapong is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games she's played.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask College Park). They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Acalanes on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
Kayla Clements spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits.
At the plate, College Park got a massive performance out of Avery Rodriguez, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Maya Davis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
College Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive matches.
College Park's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Northgate, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
College Park's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Northgate has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. It's a different story for College Park, though, as they've been averaging 8.9 hits. Given Northgate's sizable advantage in that area, the Falcons will need to find a way to close that gap.
Northgate might still be hurting after the 9-3 defeat they got from College Park in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Broncos have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
