The Midtown Knights put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Riverwood 53-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Midtown also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Midtown found their leader in underclassman Devin Bockman, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bockman has scored at least 25% of Midtown's points. Another player making a difference was Briaiah Lewis, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Midtown's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Riverwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midtown will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Pius X Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. St. Pius X Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Riverwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
