Last Wednesday, Carver A&T was beaten by Lansdowne 73-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Carver A&T in their matchups with Lansdowne: they've now lost five in a row.
Eastern Tech has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 37 points or more this season. They blew past Sparrows Point 71-29 at home. That 71-29 margin sets a new team best for Eastern Tech this season.
Talan Brooks was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Jericho Wondeye was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Carver A&T's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastern Tech, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
Carver A&T came up short against Eastern Tech when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 54-42.
