Napoleon has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Ross Little Giants at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Napoleon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Friday.
Last Friday, Napoleon didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Patrick Henry, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory. The win was just what Napoleon needed coming off of a 70-30 loss in their prior game.
Napoleon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chloe Cicero out in front who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Kruse, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Ross' 21-4 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were beaten by Anthony Wayne 75-33 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Ross can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Anthony Wayne is ranked 94th).
Napoleon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ross, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Napoleon came up short against Ross in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 41-34. Will Napoleon have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
