Marshfield has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 23. They fell 3-1 to the Silver Lake Regional Lakers on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Silver Lake Regional this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Marshfield's goal came courtesy of Cole Sombronsky, who's now up to three this season.

Marshfield's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-3. As for Silver Lake Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Marshfield will square off against Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Silver Lake Regional, they will take on North Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Silver Lake Regional will be up against North Quincy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.2 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
