The Dwight Trojans can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Wednesday. They came out on top against Gardner-South Wilmington by a score of  65-55. The  win was just what Dwight needed coming off of a  58-35 defeat in their prior  match.
  Luke Gallet continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 22 points and 15  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  he has scored at least a third of Dwight's points.  Conner Telford was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with six  assists and five  steals.
 Dwight's win  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-17. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
 Dwight will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against the Warriors at 7:00  p.m. Woodland is coming into the  matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they will head out on the road to  challenge  the Comets at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Clifton Central will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
