Green Bay West has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the New London Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Bay West will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 369th, while New London is ranked 71st).
Last Thursday, things could have been worse for Green Bay West, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-47 loss to Seymour.
New London suffered their closest loss yet this season on Thursday. They fell just short of West De Pere by a score of 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat New London has suffered against West De Pere since February 21, 2020.
Green Bay West's loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-11. As for New London, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
Green Bay West ended up a good deal behind New London when the teams last played back in December of 2023, losing 67-53. Can Green Bay West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
