The Perry Bluejays's five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Saydel by a score of 55-46. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Perry also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Perry got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Geren Kenney out in front who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. The contest was Kenney's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zander Mahler, who scored 18 points.
Perry's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Saydel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Perry will head out on the road to face off against A-D-M at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. A-D-M will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Saydel will be home for the holidays to greet Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greene County is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
