The Pitman Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. Their tough 53-31 loss to Clayton might stick with them for a while. Pitman has struggled against Clayton recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Clayton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rainelle Blocker led the charge by scoring 13 points along with six steals. Blocker hasn't dropped below three steals for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Jones, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Pitman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Clayton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-9.
