Achievement First's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Prince RVT 57-52.
Prince RVT's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anthony Hernandez led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Cal Williams was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with four steals.
Achievement First's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Prince RVT, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Achievement First will square off against Academy of Science and Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Academy of Science and Innovation will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Prince RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against Goodwin Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
