There's no place like home for Glendale, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Pasadena Bulldogs 17-1 on Tuesday. The Nitros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by eight runs or more this season.

Natalie Minkler was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Minkler was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Glendale let Fritzy Martinez and Brooke Aldrete run wild. Martinez went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI, while Aldrete went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Aldrete has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Carla Bedolla, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one double.

Glendale always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Glendale's victory bumped their record up to 12-14-1. As for Pasadena, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Glendale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-5 win against Burbank on the 7th. As for Pasadena, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-2 defeat against Hoover on the 7th.
