Ankeny Centennial faced Northwest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Jaguars fell 2-0 to the Wolves. The Jaguars' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Sophia Heither paced Ankeny Centennial's offense, picking up four kills. Heither got some help from Maegan Cheeseman and her ten assists. Nora Bockes controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ankeny Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Northwest, the win keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.
