If the Irvin Rockets were riding high off their 43-14 takedown of the Patterson Institute Lions last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Irvin fell 54-46 to Harmony Science Academy on Friday. Irvin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harmony Science Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Harmony Science Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carlos Ceballos, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Ceballos hasn't dropped below 16 points for four straight games. Gael Castillo was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Irvin's loss dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Harmony Science Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-14.
Irvin will head out on the road to face off against Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 383 points over their last six matchups. Harmony Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
