The Lake View Chiefs can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-52 win over Snyder. This was payback for Lake View, who suffered a 66-31 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Joseph Delgado went supernova for Lake View, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Delgado has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Braylon White, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Lake View's win bumped their record up to 10-19. As for Snyder, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
Lake View will be playing in front of their home fans against Sweetwater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Snyder, they will head out on the road to square off against Levelland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
