St. Anthony entered their tilt with Monticello on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Sages get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

St. Anthony's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Henry Brent, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Brent is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

St. Anthony's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Monticello, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Anthony will challenge Effingham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monticello, they will venture away from home to take on Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
