After flying high against Harmony Area last Tuesday, Marion Center came back down to earth. The Marion Center Stingers fell 63-54 to the Penns Valley Area Rams on Tuesday.
Several Stingers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cameron Pack, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 15 points. Noah Mccoy was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds.
Marion Center's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Penns Valley Area, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Marion Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Penns Valley Area, they will head out on the road to square off against Forest Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Forest Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 contests -- so hopefully Penns Valley Area likes a good challenge.
