The Crazy Horse Chiefs's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 74-62 victory over St. Francis Indian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ty Valandra-Fast Horse, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cante Kills In Water, who scored 15 points.
Crazy Horse has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for St. Francis Indian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Crazy Horse on the road again on Thursday and play against Flandreau Indian at 10:30 a.m. on January 25th. Flandreau Indian comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for St. Francis Indian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against White River at 7:30 p.m. White River has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 448 points over their last six matches.
