Uintah River will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Anthem Prep Eagles at 4:00 p.m.
Uintah River won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 65-44 walloping at the hands of Salt Lake Academy. Uintah River was down 45-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Meanwhile, Anthem Prep put another one in the bag last Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 73-40 win over Varsity Opponent. Anthem Prep has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 28 points or more this season.
Uintah River now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Anthem Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.
Uintah River was dealt a bruising 91-10 defeat at the hands of Anthem Prep in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Uintah River avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
