The Bladensburg Mustangs were the 55-42 winner over the Parkdale Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bladensburg was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 58-57 to Parkdale. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (56), Bladensburg still had to take the loss.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Richards, who scored 17 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of anuel decker, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Bladensburg's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Parkdale, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.
Bladensburg will take on Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bladensburg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Parkdale, they will head out on the road to square off against Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
