Dallas HSAA North was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from ninth to fifth in Freelance. Earlier in the week, the Blue Angels triumphed over The Woodlands Christian Academy 28-25.
Marine Military moved up to 992 from 1,059 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bulldogs were able to make the jump by beating Monte Alto 42-0.
Dallas HSAA North's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chase Bryant threw for 116 yards and Micah Sherman had 49 yards receiving. On the ground Joel Martin chipped in 196 yards. Daniel Sherman helped Dallas HSAA North's passing attack out by catching four balls for 33 yards.
Dallas HSAA North's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Angels feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bryant has thrown for 1223 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Sherman has 28 catches for 404 yards. Martin leads the league in rushing with 411 yards.
A big matchup in Freelance this week will be when Brock takes on A Plus Academy. The Eagles are currently in first, while the Knights are in fourth.
Michael Scott's team and the Warriors played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Michael Scott's team eventually emerging with a 28-25 victory. Martin in the win.
