If the Big Horn Rams were riding high off their 40-18 takedown of the Shoshoni Wranglers last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Big Horn was the victim of a tough 68-42 loss at the hands of Tongue River on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Big Horn has suffered since December 15, 2023.
Big Horn's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emme Mullinax, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Teagan Butler, who scored five points along with eight rebounds.
Big Horn's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Tongue River, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Big Horn will play host again and welcome Sundance, where tip off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tongue River on the road again on Saturday and play against Wright at 1:30 p.m. on January 20th.
