The Keystone Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clarion Area Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Keystone has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Clarion Area will arrive with four straight victories.
Last Tuesday, Keystone came up short against Union and fell 41-32.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Clarion Area beat Karns City 47-43 on Friday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Clarion Area has scored all season.
Keystone's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Clarion Area, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Keystone was taken down by Clarion Area 69-41 in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Keystone was down 45-23.
