The Greenfield-Central Cougars scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They took their  contest on the road  with ease, bagging a  73-43 victory over Tri-Central. Greenfield-Central's  win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
  Braylon Mullins continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 23 points along with four  steals. The  game was  his ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Braden Robertson, who  scored 15 points.
 Despite the  defeat, Tri-Central saw an underclassman step up:  Jay Jankoviak  scored ten points along with six  rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him.  Landon Grant was another key contributor,  scoring nine points.
 Greenfield-Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Tri-Central,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-3.
 Greenfield-Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 5:00  p.m.  on December 28, 2023. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Greenfield-Central is ranked ninth). Tri-Central and Waldron will round out the year against one another at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday at. Hopefully Waldron focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
