The Avon Falcons can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 60-39 margin over Prince RVT. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Avon has managed all season.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Atarian Salmon, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Salmon has scored all season. Anthony Hernandez was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Prince RVT struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Avon's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Prince RVT, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
