After a string of three wins, the San Pasqual Academy Dragons's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Julian by a score of 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat San Pasqual Academy has suffered against the Eagles since February 2, 2016.
Leading Julian to victory were Carlo Martinez and Pete Vanderstaay. Martinez scored 19 points, while Vanderstaay scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Morytko, who scored six points.
San Pasqual Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Julian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.
