The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bishop Moore in their matchups with Lake Highland Prep: they've now lost three in a row.
Bishop Moore's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cameron Codio, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds, and Mark Dadlani who scored 11 points. Codio scored a full 29.8% of Bishop Moore's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Duayne Dupas, who scored 4 points.
Bishop Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lake Highland Prep, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Bishop Moore will be playing in front of their home fans against Cocoa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cocoa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Thursday. As for Lake Highland Prep, they will square off against Windermere at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Windermere's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
