Timberline is 9-1 against Borah since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Timberline Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Borah Lions at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Timberline and four for Borah.
Last Tuesday, Timberline faced Boise in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Timberline took a serious blow against Boise, falling 59-32. Timberline has not had much luck with Boise recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Borah came up short against Rocky Mountain on Tuesday and fell 37-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Borah has scored all season.
Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Borah, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.
Timberline was able to grind out a solid win over Borah in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, winning 47-39. Does Timberline have another victory up their sleeve, or will Borah turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
