Basketball Recap: Sazy Cantrell Key Part of a Team Effort in Storm Win

On Friday, the Providence Christian Academy Storm beat the Rabun County Wildcats 50-40.

Providence Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sazy Cantrell, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. Cantrell has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Zoie Cameron, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.

Providence Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Rabun County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Providence Christian Academy will face off against Banks County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Banks County will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Providence Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rabun County, they will challenge Athens Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
